8 (who?)
A gilded seraph waltzes atop a sunlit canvas of spring, and lives
a lone life with a turbulent heart, whose figure, still, fervently glows
before a fading sun. A dampened spirit, that grows colorless, but strives
for beauty even as her own depletes - and as her heart beat slows,
A black rose stems from shadows that dance with her golden aura.
Death marks the start of spring. and from the rose's lips a butterfly grows
Of glistening gold and fading black that tell of her sad story.
Before reading, please consider this: I don't write to express a certain idea. I write to stretch my imagination and to help others visit places that have never been thought of. I prefer to create images that can all mean more than one thing. These words that I have written down are not just words. They are symbols.

In short, analyze the next seven lines as you would a dream.

I love the gentle flow from thought to thought, I'm being pushed and moved like i'm foam gently floating in a stream. The images are wonderful and I love the word choice.

God, this is good. Your spacing is incredible and made the words fit perfectly in my head when I read them, and the word choices you've made are flawless, evoking a painstaking image of impeccable grace and sorrow.

This is amazing, I wish I could write like this. It speaks with symbols like you said and it's free verse. Even though I like the poetry I write, it's pretty much staright forward and in patterns. This poem could mean a lot to other people, but to me it means that with every death there is a new life to fulfill it's legacy. Well done.
thank you for the comment :DD
